Djigui Seck, also known as Jiggy, has finally replied to Jovi Pena’s claim that he assaulted her
Pena, who is well-known as a TikToker and Instagram model, said that Seck attacked her at a party held by Twitch user Kai Cenat.
The event supposedly happened on January 1, 2023, and it was talked about on social media soon after. Here is more you need to know about it.
For months, Seck didn’t say anything about the accusations. He said he was getting legal advice and wanted to hear Pena’s side of the story before he did. But on April 24, Seck shared a video of what he said happened to him on Twitter. The video was later taken down because it broke Twitter’s rules.

On April 29, Seck finally talked about the accusations in a Twitter thread. He started by writing that he was sorry if he had hurt Pena in any way, saying, “I am sorry for any way I may have made you feel uncomfortable or hurt.” He went on to explain his reasons for not speaking out earlier, stating that he wanted to hear Pena’s story in full before responding and that he wished the matter had been handled through the proper legal channels.
Djigui Seck criticizes use of social media for assault allegations
Seck also didn’t like how the allegations were made public at first, saying that social media wasn’t the right place for such important claims. He wrote, “I wish we had gone through the legal system instead of resorting to social media. I believe that the legal system is there for a reason, and it is the best way to handle these types of situations.”

In the beginning, Cenat didn’t say anything about Pena’s claims because his lawyer told him not to. But he later went on social media to support Seck and refute Pena’s claims that he had turned her down for help. Cenat wrote on Twitter, “I want to make it clear that I did not refuse to help Jovi in any way. I have been advised by my legal counsel not to discuss this matter publicly, but I can say that I did everything I could to assist her.”
Fans criticise Pena over Djigui Seck allegations
People are talking more about abuse and the role of social media in reporting it because of the accusations against Seck. Many people have criticised how Pena first told people about the allegations, saying that social media is not the right place for such important claims. Others have praised Seck for finally speaking out about the claims and for calling for a more responsible and respectful way to deal with assault allegations.
The charges against Seck also show that assault and harassment are still a problem in the gaming and streaming communities. In the past few years, a number of well-known streamers and content makers have been accused of misconduct. This has led to calls for more accountability and transparency in these industries.
