He is fondly known as Ashu. He was born on September 18, 1988, in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, Haryana. His father’s name is Mahipal Singh, and his mother’s name is Sunita Sharma. He did his schooling at Aggarwal Public School, Ballabhgarh.

He is married, and his wife’s name is Shweta Sharma. He is currently 29 years old. Mohit was bought by Gujarat for Rs 50 lakh at the mini-auction. He wore the number 6 jersey for India and number 18 for CSK.

His career

Mohit Sharma has played for many IPL teams as well as the Haryana cricket team. He was offered a contract by the Chennai Super Kings for the 2013 season of the IPL thanks to his outstanding Ranji Trophy performance, in which he took 37 wickets at an exceptional average of 23. He continued to succeed, taking 23 wickets in 15 games.

He went on to play for the Chennai Super Kings, the Delhi Capitals, and even the Gujarat Titans, who signed him as a net bowler for the IPL 2022 season.

During India’s tour of Zimbabwe, Mohit made his debut for his country in the fourth one-day international against Zimbabwe. He put up an outstanding bowling performance in his first game, allowing only 26 runs and taking two wickets, including the key one of Zimbabwe’s opener, Sikandar Raza. As a result of his effort, he was named Man of the Match, becoming the second Indian player after Sandeep Patil to accomplish this feat in their ODI debut.
