Tyson Fury ended up walking the talk when he took on Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas.
One of the fights of this decade, when Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder took on each other, we were in for an enthralling scrimmage. The two left no stone unturned to get the better of each other, a clash which will go down in the annuls of boxing folklore.
After Fury had knocked down Wilder in round 3, the home crowd favourite showed resilience and girt to return with two knock downs in round. It was an enthralling showdown, one which persistently switched hands before Fury ended up knocking down Wilder in round 10 before knocking him out in round 11 to retain his WBC heavyweight title.
Tyson Fury Uses Stool With Image Of Him Knocking Out Deontay Wilder During Fury vs Wilder 3
Wilder was seen bleeding from his ear in the aftermath of the matchup, an injury reminiscent of the one he had suffered when the two had sparred previously. The visuals were a spitting image of the picture Fury had on his stool during the skirmish, one which had the words, “big dosser” written on them along with an image of him landing a lethal blow to Wilder’s ear.

The win for Fury brought an end to the trilogy clash between him and Wilder with him winning the triad of matches 2-0. The first tie between the two had ended in the draw while Fury had reigned supreme in the subsequent two bouts.
Wilder was seen scurrying away from the venue after his defeat with him refusing to stick around for Fury’s winning speech and song.
