Tyson Fury opened up on the response he got from Deontay Wilder after telling him well done after Wilder vs Fury 3
Although Tyson Fury lived upto the expectations accorded on his shoulders as he knocked out Deontay Wilder in round 11, the showdown between him and the Bronze Bomber was by far a lopsided one.
Despite going down early as he was knocked down in round 3 itself, Wilder showed immense heart and pluck to recover. He knocked down Fury twice in round 4, taking the scrimmage all the way to round 11 before eventually suffering a gruesome blow in round 10, one which lead to his demise in round 11.
He might have been defeated on the night but Wilder’s show of fight and character was hailed with him will and valor seeing us be regaled in an edge of the seat thriller. The fight is being touted as one of the battles of the decade with it clearly taking home the moniker of the fight of 2021.

And Fury was quick to recognise that he had been pushed all the way by a more than capable opponent with him heading over to Wilder’s corner after the win to congratulate Wilder on a good contest. However, Wilder was far from willing to resonate those feelings with Fury revealing after the fight that Wilder had told him he was going to show him no respect or sportsmanship.

Wilder’s comments came in the backdrop of him seeing cantering away from the arena in Las Vegas as Fury was declared the winner of the bout. As Fury was giving his winning speech, Wilder and his entourage was seen feeling the arena on the night.
