Kyrie Irving has declined to reveal the status of his vaccination stating โ€œI would like to keep that stuff private.โ€ Irving did not attend the Brooklyn Nets media day this Monday because of the Covid-19 regulations.

As reported Irving was seen liking Instagram posts claiming the secret societies are implanting vaccines in a plot to connect the Black people for a โ€œplan of Satan.โ€ NBA are working on protocols for the unvaccinated players and ensuring safe and secure travels for its players. It has not been made mandatory for the players to get vaccinated.

However, New York and San Francisco have made it a mandate for all the players to show a proof of vaccination before playing indoors. Though there can be exemptions made for certain players with health issues and religious beliefs in New York.

NBA 2021 Unvaccinated Players List: Who are the players that have refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine

Many players have followed the path of the Vice-president of the NBA Players Union Kyrie Irving. It is reported that roughly 50-60 players are yet to get a single dose of vaccine. It consists of multiple players from the Boston Celtics teams. There are many unvaccinated players as of now in the NBA notably:

Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets)

Irving as mentioned earlier is the biggest name who has been hesitant of getting the vaccine. The player will most like miss the teamโ€™s home games as well as the away games at the Knicks and Golden State Warriors. If things donโ€™t change soon it will be a big loss for the Brooklyn Nets.

Andrew Wiggins (Golden State Warriors)

The Warriors forward tried to get a religious exemption from the vaccine but was denied. Similar to that of Kyrie Irving, Wiggins will also miss out his home games for the Warriors and games away at New York.

Jonathan Isaac (Orlando Magic)

Isaac has made it clear that he does not want to get vaccinated as one cannot force someone to do things that they donโ€™t favor. The Magicโ€™s player does not require to get vaccinated to play home games. However, he will miss out on the games at New York and San Francisco.

Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards)

Beal has claimed that he doesnโ€™t plan to get vaccinated because of personal reasons. Similar to that of Jonathan Isaac, Beal will also miss his teamโ€™s away games at New York and San Francisco.

Whatโ€™s next for the unvaccinated players ahead of the training camp?

As mentioned earlier, only New York and San Francisco have made it mandatory for the players to get vaccinated. A new set of rules and protocols is being developed by the league for itโ€™s unvaccinated players. Whether the unvaccinated players actually miss out on games in the two cities or will there be a change in the mandate is yet to be seen.
