Paul Pogba stopped to faceoff with the West Ham supporters at the London Stadium before heading down the tunnel
A dramatic end to West Ham vs Manchester United saw tension run high at the London Stadium in the bygone round of the Premier League fixtures. After Cristiano Ronaldo had cancelled out Said Benrahma’s opening goal in the first half, both the sides failed to break the deadlock in the second half.
David de Gea’s Penalty Save Gives Manchester United 2-1 Win
The tie looked headed towards a draw before Jesse Lingard gave Manchester United a late lead. The goal which came against the club where he had spent last season on loan was a sterling strike, one worthy of giving his side the three points on the day.
However, there remained another twist in the affair as Luke Shaw ended up giving the home side a penalty. With VAR adjudging it to be a handball, West Ham were handed over a golden chance to walk away with a point from the tie.

However, Mark Noble ended up scuffing his tracks when it mattered most with his tame effort being saved by David de Gea. It was a horrid miss, one which saw the player fail to repose the faith David Moyes had earmarked in him.
The miss left West Ham supporters seething with them deciding to direct their anger towards Paul Pogba. The French midfielder saw a barrage of abuses sent down his way as he headed down the tunnel the home side supporters bellowing, “F**k you” and “Shut you f**king mouth” at Pogba.

And the Manchester United midfielder being the personality that he is decided to hang out as he confronted the home supporters before being eventually taken down the tunnel by Michael Carrick.
