A fight broke out between two football fans outside of a pub after the Blackpool Vs Burnley football match on March 4 with fan Tony Johnson losing his life in it
The fan was in critical condition after the fight that happened at the Manchester Pub in Blackpool. Police were called there on Saturday night. Lancashire Police have said that an investigation is going on at the pub right now.

LancsLive says that the victim was attacked outside the pub around 7 pm and got a serious head injury. He was taken to the hospital and was in very bad shape before his death was confirmed on Monday. The victim is said to be a Blackpool fan belonging to The Muckers named Tony Johnson aged 55, and the Promenade in Blackpool has been blocked off by police.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of hurting him, and the investigation is still going on. The fight happened outside the Manchester pub, according to the Blackpool Police, and they found a man with a serious head injury. The suspect is still being held, and questions are still being asked.

Lancashire Police said in a statement that they were in the area of the pub after the Blackpool vs. Burnley football game and that officers gave CPR at the scene. Tony, who was in his 50s, was then taken to the hospital. It is thought that the fight started between a few football fans, and at this point, there is no evidence that he was singled out.
Now, the police are working with both Blackpool and Burnley football clubs to find out what happened and who else was involved. DCI Lancashire Police’s Tracey McMurdo said that they were taking this very seriously and would do everything they could to find out who was responsible.

The game itself was a Lancashire derby, and Blackpool and Burnley tied 0-0. Each team got a point. Burnley now has 13 points more than second-placed Sheffield United. Which lost to Blackburn earlier in the day, and 17 points more than third-placed Middlesbrough.
Fans send condolences for the fan
When people on Twitter heard that the fan was fighting for his life, they sent their thoughts and prayers. Teresa Williams, a travelling Burnley fan, sent her condolences to the victim’s family. She said “about drunken men becoming aggressive and looking for trouble.”
