Table tennis fans across India are eagerly awaiting the WTT Star Contender Goa 2023, the first major World Table Tennis event to be held in the country, know about its live stream
Set to take place from February 27 to March 5, the tournament will be played at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Panjim, Goa. With live streaming available for all matches, fans around the world will also be able to enjoy the action.

Indian table tennis players will be looking to make a mark in front of a home crowd. With Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra leading the charge in the men’s and women’s singles respectively. Kamal will be joined by Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, Payas Jain and Wesley Do Rosario. While Batra will be supported by Sreeja Akula and Suhana Saini.

Who are participating in the WTT Star Contender Goa?
A total of 15 Indian players, including Harmeet Desai, Manav Thakkar and Sanil Shetty, will be participating in the WTT Star Contender. While the women’s singles qualifiers will also see 15 Indians in action, including Tokyo Olympian Sutirtha Mukherjee and Archana Kamath.

What is WTT Star Contender?
The tournament was initially set to feature several top international players. Including Ma Long, reigning Olympic champion and world No. 1 Fan Zhendong. And world No. 1 Sun Yingsha and current Olympic champion Chen Meng in the women’s singles. However, due to COVID-19 and injuries, six Chinese players, including Ma Long and Chen Meng, had to withdraw from the event at the last minute.
Despite the withdrawals, there will still be a strong international presence at the WTT Star Contender Goa 2023. Fans can look forward to watching top players like Dimitrij Ovtcharov of Germany, Tomokazu Harimoto of Japan, and Hugo Calderano of Brazil compete.
