Who is the fan that was beaten by a West Ham supporter?
The fan who was knocked out prior to West Ham vs. Chelsea is actually an AFC Wimbledon supporter. His supervisor has taken the stand. Bill Tarbuck, an apprentice at Elite Electrical Contracting in Surrey, is the fan who was knocked out.
Over time, the video became extremely popular on Twitter. Many have sympathised with Bill for receiving severe blows. However, he later uploaded a video of him laughing while in the hospital. Further, Bill’s lack of support for either Chelsea or West Ham is also noteworthy. Everybody assumed him to be a die-hard Chelsea fan but in actuality, he is an AFC Wimbledon supporter who recently attended the game.
Bill’s supervisor has taken a stand.
Following the event, Bill’s supervisor, Gregg Barnes spoke with the Daily Mail. He claimed that during his four or five years of working with them, there had never been any hint that Bill was anything like that.
He also made the surprising revelation that he does not support either Chelsea or West Ham. Bill genuinely backs AFC Wimbledon. Simply going with some pals, he ended up hanging out with the wrong crowd. He truly regrets his actions. But for the time being, he must put the past in the past and focus only on the future.
