2022 Khelo India Winter Games day 3 results, winners, day 4 Schedule, venue, medal matches, & other details
From February 10 to 14, Gulmarg is hosting the third-edition of the Khelo India Winter Games, which will feature 1,500 athletes across 11 sports. At KIWG 2023, there will be competitions in Alpine skiing, curling, bobsleigh, skeleton, snowshoeing, ski mountaineering, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, ice hockey, & bandy. It is known that the Khelo India Winter Games is a component of the Khelo India programme, which is an initiative by the Indian government to encourage sports among the nation’s youth.
Jammu & Kashmir collected 76 medals in 2020, including 26 gold. Services Sports Control Board came in second place with 21 medals, followed by Uttarakhand in third place with 13 medals. Jammu & Kashmir won 34 medals at the 2021 competition—11 gold, 18 silver, and 5 bronze. Maharashtra and Karnataka, respectively, occupied the second and third positions. In the ongoing third edition, Jammu & Kashmir are yet again dominating the competition and are expected to emerge as the winners.
