Canadian International Alphonso Davies is out with a knee injury for an unspecified time period. He was subbed off at the beginning of the final quarter of the match against the USA which ended in a 1-1 draw. Meanwhile, they are running tests on him to identify the extent of this injury.
The Canadian was in agony and went down in the final quarter of the game before being subbed off. He will return to Munich and will work on his rehabilitation at the Bayern Munich medical center. Julian Nagelsmann will hope for the earliest return of the Canadian who has become a crucial part of the team.
The good news is that the persistent previous ankle injury has not worsened which kept him on and off the pitch last year. However, his selection for the Bayern Munich team seems unlikely owing to the knee injury.

He will return to Germany and will be under observation as the club will begin his rehabilitation process. Meanwhile, the match between the USA and Canada ended in a stalemate as both the teams were not able to edge out each other.
Alphonso Davies Career
20-years-old Canadian International Alphonso Davies began his professional football career in the MLS where he was the youngest ever. He joinedย Vancouver Whitecaps FC in 2016 and stayed there for 3 seasons.
Initially, he found it difficult to break into the first team and featured rarely in his first season at the club. However, his electric pace and quickness helped his case as he became an important part of the team. Davies managed to feature in 81 games for the club finding the net 12 times during his 3-year spell.
In 2018, he joined the Bayern Munich youth program and started developing under the Bavarian giants. He made his senior debut the following year and quickly impressed the coaching staff with his electric pace. Since joining the club in 2018, he has managed to feature in 88 games for the club and has scored 5 goals in all competitions.
