At the 2023 RuPay Prime Volleyball League, Bengaluru Torpedoes lost their second straight game at Bengaluru’s Koramangala Stadium after blowing a lead against Ahmedabad Defenders. Bengaluru won the first set 15-14 and led 2-1 at one point, but they then let Ahmedabad dominate the match’s momentum as the hosts found themselves in the last set and lost the match by scores of 15-14, 10-15, 15-14, 10-15, & 10-15. In the decisive set, Manoj’s heroics guided his team towards victory combined with back-to-back serve errors from the Torpedoes.
On Friday, Chennai Blitz will resume their campaign against Mumbai Meteors as the former look to continue their flying start to the season. Meanwhile, Mumbai Meteors will hope to bag their first victory of the season. It is confirmed that the match will be played at 7:00 PM IST on Friday at the Koramangala Stadium.
