Heineken Dutch GP 2021 Venue and Circuit Details

The Heineken Dutch Grand Prix will be at Circuit Zandvoort which is a 4.259kilometeres long circuit. Meanwhile, the total distance covered would be 306.648kilometeres in 72 laps.

Circuit Zandvoort was built in 1948 to serve the enthusiasm of few legends who were interested in motorsports. It is a mixture of public roads and permanent tracks situated in the middle of the sand-dunes of the Zandvoort resort town.

Formula 1 visited Zandvoort in 1952 and maintained an on and off relationship with the Dutch circuit till 1985. Zandvoort was supposed to make its debut after 35 years in 2020 but the pandemic delayed the GP.

Meanwhile, Formula 1 has worked tirelessly to improve the speed of the track according to the current FIA norms. The current F1 drivers have raced on Zandvoort a couple of times in the Junior Championship and described the track as ‘Really quick’, ‘pretty insane’, ‘crazy’, and ‘old-school’.
