Atrioc was caught purchasing the Deepfake of other streamers with his video clip now viral
Twitch streamer Atrioc apologised after it was discovered that he had paid to view deepfake videos starring other streamers.
Atrioc apologised for visiting a deepfake website that contained offensive deepfakes of female streamers including Pokimane and Maya Higa after briefly disclosing this. The name of the site is not known though.

However, female streamers are furious when sharing their opinions on the subject, and with good reason.
The alleged video that exposed the well-known streamer was taken from his feed on January 26 and showed his open tabs, one of which was allegedly a deepfake website.
Without their permission, this website provides access to deepfake pictures and videos of female streamers including Pokimane, Maya Higa, and others.
Atrioc apologizes after paying for deepfakes of female streamers
When the video went viral, Atrioc apologised and addressed the issue on his Twitch feed.
โThis is so embarrassing,โ Atrioc got going. He continued by describing how his intense interest in AI and AI art caused him to fall down a rabbit hole. When he went to a standard p*rn website, this resulted in targeted advertising that brought him to the current situation.
โI got morbidly curious and I clicked something. Itโs gross and Iโm sorry. Itโs so embarrassing.โ
Atrioc makes sure to emphasise that this was an unusual occurrence and that this was not a “pattern of behaviour” in his reply.
He further said:
There is no excuse for it. Iโm not defending it in any way, I think this whole category of stuff is wrong.”
Because he personally knew several of the streamers and their partners, the response Atrioc experienced was even more intense. The streamer QTCinderella, whom Atrioc is quite familiar with and who is good friends with her partner Ludwig, is one example of this.

QTCinderella addressed the topic live as it got more and more attention online. She originally issued a statement on Twitter.
The female streamer discusses the harmful emotional consequence the deepfake website had on her mental health while also pledging to sue the site’s creator.
This is just another example of the troubles faced by female content creators, who are often sexualized even when they don’t want to be and harassed because they are female.
Unfortunately, deepfakes operate in a legal grey area, making it challenging to pursue legal action against them.
