Sydney Sixers and Brisbane Heat’s Big Bash League match on Sunday at The Gabba created an unexpected scenario that confused both spectators and observers. The biggest talking point of this year’s BBL is currently Michael Neser’s juggling performance to dismiss Sixers’ Jordan Silk amid the enormous chase of 225.
In the penultimate over of Sixer’s pursuit, the event took place when Silk sent a delivery from Mark Steketee careening over the boundaries for a maximum. Neser, who was positioned at the far-off boundary, caught it at the edge of the line but lost his momentum to go over the line. However, he threw the ball without touching the ground beyond boundary and juggled the ball for a moment before throwing inside the ground. During his impressive innings, Silk managed to hit two sixes and three boundaries for scoring 41 runs off just 23 balls thanks to which, Sixers came close to winning this match. However, Neser’s airborne juggling act before completing the catch inside the playing area compelled the umpires to give the wicket.
