Someone managed to catch a Raiders supporter yelling in a Patriots fan’s face after Sunday’s tense contest between the two teams. As soon as it was uploaded, this video went viral. Social media users applauded Jerry Edmond for remaining calm in the face of what appeared to be constant harassment.
After the game, Patriots owner Robert Kraft called Edmond and invited him to Saturday’s home game versus the Bengals. Edmond played the League of Justice a recording of Kraft’s address.
Jerry Edmond’s First NFL Game
Edmond travelled to Las Vegas for his first NFL game, when he reported being harassed by a pair of spectators. Even though he insisted he never yelled at them or treated them rudely, a woman complained that he had been “talking trash” about Derek Carr, quarterback for the Raiders, and “disrespectful to the stadium.” Edmond claims that all he said was, “That’s the Derek Carr I know.”
