Both semi-final matches will be contested on Saturday, with He Bingjiao taking against Taiwan’s top player Tai Tzu-ying and Chen Yufei competing against the current world champion Akane Yamaguchi.

In Group-B, Tai Tzu-ying won her clash against Intanon by score of 21-10, 12-21, 21-7 to finish as group runner-up and qualify for semi-final.
