Fleetwood Mac last performed together in 2018, where Christine performed alongside her fellow bandmates Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, and her ex-husband, bass guitarist John Graham McVie.

Christine McVie’s family shared the tragic news about her death on her official Instagram account on Nov. 30, 2022.
According to the statement posted by her family, Christine passed away peacefully at a hospital on Wednesday morning on November 30, 2022 following a short illness. She passed away peacefully in the company of her family.
The statement also requested everyone to kindly respect the family’s privacy at the extremely tragic time. It further continued, requesting “everyone to keep Christine in their hearts and remember the life of an incredible human being, and revered musician who was loved universally. RIP Christine McVie.”
As of now, Christine’s family members haven’t publicly announced a cause of death. The post on Christine’s Instagram just denotes that she died of a “short illness” with no other details.
McVie married Fleetwood Mac’s John McVie in 1968, with Peter Green as best man but the couple divorced in 1976. Her net worth stood at $105 million.
