On Thursday, Richa Chadda was criticised on social media for making fun of the Indian Army for what it said about POK with Twitter quick to boycott MamaEarth for its shenanigans
Richa Chadha’s three-word tweet seemed to make fun of the Indian Army’s top commander’s comments about taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir by bringing up the clash between the Chinese and Galwan troops in 2022.
Why Is Boycott MamaEarth Trending On Twitter After Ghazal Alagh Company Supports Richa Chadda As She Mocks The Indian Army
Almost everyone told Chadda she was wrong after she sent out her tweet. So, she apologised to the public and said that she comes from a family of Army-men and that she would never make fun of the Indian Armed Forces again.
Most people on Twitter made fun of Richa Chadda, but there were a few who tried to figure out what she meant and not make fun of the Indian Army. Mamaearth was one of them. Mamaearth is an Indian brand of beauty products. Varun Alagh and Ghazal Alagh are among the people who started it.
Mamaearth Getting Into Trouble For Supporting Richa Chadda
The company got a lot of attention from the media after Ghazal Alagh was one of the sharks on the show Shark Tank India. The next question is why #BoycottMamaEarth is so popular on Twitter. It seems that MamaEarth wrote on its Twitter account that they don’t agree with making fun of the Indian Army.
But the beauty product brand also said that the word “Glawan Says Hi” is not conclusive. We think this is a reference to how the Indian Army had the upper hand in such difficult terrain, even though they were outnumbered at the standoff. But the tweet didn’t go over well with netizens, and a trend of people not buying from the company began.
I am throwing all products I am using of Mamaearth , if they are unable to find any offense in that tweet . Then here we are with our reply. #BoycottMamaEarth pic.twitter.com/RzrKA4ESXy

Mama Earth has deleted its tweet.
I used to buy their products for my little nieces and from now onwards I won't buy any of @mamaearthindia products and ask everybody in my vicinity to boycott their products. Enough is enough#BoycottMamaEarth pic.twitter.com/MsGrduY9da
