It is now known that, Gerwyn Price will start his title quest at 2022 Cazoo Players Championship Finals with crucial first-round tie against Ryan Joyce. Meanwhile, top-seeded Damon Heta will start his journey against Ricardo Pietreczko.

2022 Players Championship Finals Schedule, Venue, Draw, Format, & Playing Line-up
The top 64 finishers in the Players Championship Order of Merit after thirty tournaments this year qualified for the Players Championship Finals, which will begin on Friday at the Butlin’s Resort, Minehead. In first-round of tournament, second-seeded Luke Humphries will face Nathan Rafferty of Northern Ireland and top-seeded Damon Heta will begin his campaign against Germany’s Ricardo Pietreczko.
If both Josh Rock and six-time champion Michael van Gerwen through their first matches against Ryan Meikle and Cameron Menzies, respectively, they might face each other in round two. The winner of Saturday’s Players Championship 30—James Wade—will face Austrian veteran Mensur Suljovic, while world number one Gerwyn Price will square off against Ryan Joyce. Elsewhere, winner of 2018 tournament, Daryl Gurney, will compete against resurgent Keegan Brown for spot in round two.
On Friday, November 25, the first round will be played over a lengthy opening session, while the second & third rounds will be played over two sessions on Saturday. Then, on Sunday, November 27, the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship match will take place. For this event, tickets can be purchased by fans from here.

Prize Money Pool Distribution of 2022 Players Championship Finals
As per latest announcements by chairman of PDC, 2022 edition of Players Championship Finals will have prize pool of £600,000. This has increased from £500,000 reward of last year, but breakdown of fund is yet-to-be announced. In last edition, winner bagged £100,000 compared to £50,000 and hence, we can expect that this year’s finalists will earn even more.

2022 Cazoo Players Championship Finals will be televised on ITV4 in UK, via DAZN in several international regions, through Viaplay in Netherlands, & PDC’s global broadcast partners. On Friday and Saturday, Stage Two will be covered on PDCTV in all countries.
