A US Army veteran, Richard Fierro is making headlines after he was credited Hero for helping subdue the suspect in the deadly mass shooting in Colorado Springs Gay bar ‘Club Q’ named Anderson Lee Aldrich
As per reports, amid the ongoing investigations in the mass shooting case, Fierro has now come forward to reveal what he had experienced inside the venue.

Speaking about his experience, the military veteran opened up in front of reporters that he was accompanied with his wife and daughter in the bar, the night the shooting took place.
Richard revealed that although his wife wasn’t seriously injured, however, their daughter, Kassy, broke her knee.
He also opened up, Kassy’s boyfriend was among the 5 victims who were killed in the shooting.
As per the statement given by Richard, their family had gone to the LBTQ+ nightclub due to Kassy’s old junior prom date performing at the venue.
Who’s Richard Fierro?
Richard, who’s a US Army veteran, had spent 15 years for the nation’s military. Apart from it, he also co-owned a local brewery.
The 45-year-old had spent 4 combat deployments across Iraq and Afghanistan.
While speaking to the Washington Post, Richard revealed that, “I had my whole Colorado Springs family in there. I had to do something: He was not going to kill my family.”
Meanwhile, his wife, Jess, took to Facebook and penned down about her experience. She wrote that her husband was bruised on the right side and he had injured his hands while he attempted to apprehend the gunman.
She wrote on the Atrevida Beer Co’s facebook as she stated, “He was covered in blood.”
On the other hand, the Police Chief, Adrian Vasquez, stated in a statement on Monday, November 21, that a 45-year-old and Thomas James stopped the shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich.
Meanwhile he stated in a statement with the Washington Post, “I just want people to take care of people, the people who are hurt and no longer with us.
The Mayor of Colorado Springs, John Suthers, stated about Richard’s help as “heroically intervened.”
For those who are unaware, let us tell you, Aldrich was arrested and is held on murder and hate crime charges on Monday in connection with the attack which killed 5 and injured around 25.
