Following the winner’s announcement, a Kolkata resident, Shlok Mukherjee, is making headlines as he won the competition for this year’s motivational Doodle.

As per a report by the Telegraph, Bengal’s Shlok bagged the top position in the competition which saw more than 115,000 entries from all-over India in the category of children classes 1-10.
Shlok won the competition for his submission of a motivational Doodle which is titled “India on the center stage.”
His Doodle, which shows an illustration of a human pating a robot, has been published as the Doodle of the day on Google’s homepage.
Aside from human and robot connection, his illustration also includes the environment as trees and earth in the background.
As per reports, while sharing his doodle, Shlok stated that, “In the next 25 years, my India will have scientists develop their own eco-friendly robot for humanity’s betterment.
“India will have regular intergalactic travels from Earth to space. India will develop more in Yoga and Ayurveda, and will get stronger in coming years.”
Who’s Shlok Mukherjee?
For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, Shlok is a child, who came into lime-light after he participated in the Google Doodle Competition 2022.
The kid is a native of Kolkata, West Bengal and a student of the Delhi Public School, Newtown Kolkata. He studies in standard 4.
As per reports, Shlok is quite enthusiastic towards drawing and arts and he had learnt the talent from his uncle Sayan Mukherjee.
Let us remind you, the kid from Kolkata, who had won thousands of hearts by his illustration will be honored with an INR 500,000 college scholarship and INR 200,000 tech package for his school from the search engine Google.
His illustration will be displayed for 24 hours on the homepage of Google. Apart from the price money scholarship and tech package, the kid will also receive a certificate and a trophy of achievement.
As per reports, his Doodle was declared the winner by the Panel of Judges which includes Personality likes of Neena Gupta, editor-in-chief at Tinkle Comics Kuriakose Vaisian, YouTube Creator Slayypoint, and artist and businesswoman Alika Bhatk.
Aside from the judge panel, there was also public voting criteria where 20 Doodles were posted. Among those 20, Shlok’s Doodle emerged winner after receiving more than 552,000 public votes.
