The OTT Release date for newly released Telugu fantasy action film Bimbisara, starring Nandamuri Kalayan Ram has been confirmed along with several other details
Ever since its release, the film, directed and written by debutant Mallidi Vassishta has been creating havoc at the box-office.

The initial shooting for the film began in 2020 and ended in November 2021 with delay due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Bimbisara was shot at Ramakrishna Studios in Hyderabad. Hari Krishna K. bankrolled the film under the banner of N.T.R. Arts. M.M. Keeravani composed the song along with Chirrantan Bhatt.
Bimbisara OTT Release Date
Following the filmโs success at the box-office, fans cannot wait for an OTT release. The good news is that filmโs makers have agreed on a deal with popular OTT service Zee5. With the agreement, the platform has now purchased the post theatrical rights for the film.
According to earlier reports, the film would have its OTT streaming 5 weeks after its theater release. However, since the film turned out to be a big blockbuster, the film is probably taking a bit longer to stream on Zee5.
All reports suggest October 21, 2022 as the final and official OTT release date for the film.

Bimbisara Reviews And Box-Office Grossing
Bimbisara was initially released in theatres on August 5, 2022 and received positive response from critics as well as audience.
The film, made on a budget of 40 crore INR, collected an impressive grossed collection of Rs. 11.50 crore on its opening day and 30 core INR in its first weekend worldwide.
It managed to do all this despite facing a direct clash with Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur starrer romantic period drama film Sita Raman, which also received critical acclaimed and commercial success, grossing over 78 crore INR at the box-office.
The film is nearing the end of its theatrical run, after a successful run of four weeks. Currently, the overall collection of the film stands at 52.5 crore INR gross according to Telugu BO tracker T2BLive.
The film is expected to wrap under 55-60 crore INR in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Critics and fans have acclaimed Kalyan Ramโs performance in Bimbisara as his career-best performance. Moreover, the direction, film score, visual-effects, and action sequences have all garnered a lot of praise.
