The female teacher was smacked so hard in the face in the viral video that her head was wrenched back and her eyeglasses slid off of her face with the Chalmette High School fight on Twitter
A sucker punch was delivered to the face of a female teacher in the tenth grade at a high school in Louisiana after she intervened to break up a quarrel between two of her students in the middle of class. At Chalmette High School in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, a fight broke out during the fourth period on September 16th, at about 2:00 p.m.
Chalmette High School Teacher Punched In The Face As She Tries To Break Up Fight Between Students, Video Goes Viral On Twitter
A teacher at Chalmette High School in Louisiana was hit so hard in the face that her head jerked back and her eyeglasses came off of her face, as seen in a video that has been going viral on social media. The shocked instructor gasped and covered her eyes with one hand after sustaining the strong strike as the two guys continued to trade blows. There were several of the students shouting, while others watched amused, chairs and baggage were being pushed around the crowded room.
The teacher was supported by medical assistance.
Later, it was discovered that some of the students had informed the school’s administration to get support for the injured instructor. After ensuring that her class was secure and that the youngsters were restrained, the woman left the school’s premises for medical assistance. The school hid the identities of the professors and students who took part. However, the school has recently determined that, contrary to what several students initially believed, the teacher, who had bruises and facial swelling, did not break her nose.
The incident appears to have taken place without any security officers from the school present, raising concerns about both the safety of the school and whether teachers should have intervened. The school has admitted that the two involved lads have been suspended and has also ordered that a criminal investigation be carried out.
The two students have been expelled.
Chalmette High School’s seasoned superintendent Doris Voitier voiced her absolute contempt after being frightened by what she saw on the video. The two students, per Voitier, have been expelled from Chalmette High School and will experience consequences in line with their Student Conduct Guide. They are cooperating closely with the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office on this issue knowing that such behaviour won’t be permitted in their classrooms. Additionally, Voitier provided an update on the teacher’s health.
The fight on Friday was Chalmette High’s second instance of this kind in recent weeks. After a fight broke out on campus, an ex-student was taken into custody on September 12 after hours for allegedly displaying a weapon.
