Recently launched Battlegrounds Mobile India also known as BGMI is set to announce its first-ever official tournament named India Series
PUBG Mobile already had organized this tournament earlier named PMIS or PUBG Mobile India Series.
Krafton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India which is said to be an alternative to PUBG Mobile is all set to organize their first-ever open tournament for their players. Moreover, according to the leaks, the prize pool of the tournament is expected to be Rs 1 Crore. Earlier, PUBG Mobile has organized a tournament named India series for Indian players.
Krafton is expected to release the roadmap and the schedule of the tournament on 15th July. So, let’s have a look at what we can expect from the upcoming BGMI India series tournament.
BGMI India Series tournament: Qualifiers, Roadmap, Prize Pool, Teams and Everything To Know
India series is going to be the first open tournament in the Battlegrounds Mobile India. Furthermore, there are no announcements regarding the BMIS but we can expect it to be the same as PMIS. Earlier, PMIS was conducted by PUBG Mobile two times. The first PMIS was won by Team Soul and it was the beginning of their journey. The second edition of the tournament was won by TSM Entity in a dominating way. However, the second tournament was an offline tournament.
Qualifiers Of Battlegrounds Mobile India Tournament
The official has hinted that mobile esports will grow once again in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India is bach. However, players will have to register their team and play qualifiers match in order to move into the knockout matches. Similarly, like PUBG Mobile, the qualifiers will be an open qualifier and players can play the classic match with their registered squad. The highest the kills, the more the chances of getting your teams selected.
Although, there are no leaks about how many teams will qualify for the next round of the tournament.
Prize pool of BGMIS
The first tournament is said to be a mega event with a prize pool of Rs.1 Crore. For now, only the individual prize has been leaked and the full details are expected to come on 15th July.
