Fans predict season 6 of Cobra Kai after hint by Ralph Macchio
Cobra Kai has returned to Netflix for its fifth season after a long absence and debuted on Friday, continuing the cherished narrative after the All-Valley tournament of Season 4. Given how well-liked Cobra Kai has grown over the past several years, many viewers have already begun binge-watching the new season to see how things turn out. Fans will discover that Cobra Kai’s direction for Season 6 is crystal evident by the time the Season 5 finale airs.
As fans get ready to watch fifth season of Cobra Kai, star actor Ralph Macchio has confirmed that certain scenes for the upcoming sixth season have already been shot. This not only demonstrates that a new season of the show is in the works, but also that floor production has started. The premiere of Cobra Kai: Season 6 has not yet been set, but given that certain scenes have already been shot, it is likely to happen in 2023.
Plot of Cobra Kai: Season 5 and Potential Storyline for Season 6
Terry Silver is the major antagonist throughout Season 5, and it seems as though the show has been building him up to be its biggest bad for the last couple of seasons. John Kreese being imprisoned and Silver seeking to expand Cobra Kai internationally made him the man to beat. In Season 5’s Kreese storyline, he was imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit while ostensibly working on his rehabilitation. Both of those plotlines are turned on their heads in the Season 5 finale.
In season 5, students of Silver disregard him as their master is shown to be a liar, a cheat, and ostensibly an arsonist. Despite the fact that Cobra Kai was granted entry into a global karate competition, it doesn’t appear that Silver will be around to enjoy the benefits. On the other side, Kreese is returning even worse than before.
The season’s climax reveals that Kreese’s entire redemption story while incarcerated was a ruse since he was planning an escape the entire time. He was last seen leaving jail, apparently looking to get revenge on Silver and take back his dojo. Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang will once more face the Big Bad when the Valley dojos travel to the worldwide competition, most likely in Season 6.
