Although the video went viral, no major media outlet has reported on it. Additionally, there have been incidents of Hindus intimidating Muslims. The Muslim mob, however, is seen in the videos moving toward Hindu homes and attacking them.
The moment of brawl broke out on Shaftesbury Avenue, off Melton Road, was captured on surveillance video of the incident. A man’s T-shirt was torn off as other men or young people were observed punching him and other people. Twitter users have shared videos of gangs intensifying their attacks against Hindus.

The neighbourhood police have implemented special measures to control the situation in the meantime in response to ongoing tensions. According to a report from LeicestershireLive, several people were caught on camera making obscene remarks in the midst of violent incidents in the city’s Belgrave neighbourhood.
The men’s chanting and any associated violence, according to Leicestershire Police, are being treated as “hate crimes.” Belgrave, Rushey Mead, and Spinney Hills are just a few of the neighbourhoods where the police have implemented special stop and search and dispersal measures.
