The neighbourhood police have implemented special measures to control the situation in the meantime in response to ongoing tensions. According to a report from LeicestershireLive, several people were caught on camera making obscene remarks in the midst of violent incidents in the city’s Belgrave neighbourhood.

The men’s chanting and any associated violence, according to Leicestershire Police, are being treated as “hate crimes.” Belgrave, Rushey Mead, and Spinney Hills are just a few of the neighbourhoods where the police have implemented special stop and search and dispersal measures.
