Steelrising’s review ratings are in, and the most recent Souls-like game is currently rated 71 on Metacritic for the PS5. According to Sixthaxis, who gave it an 8/10, its Parisian setting and persistent robotic opponents set it apart from the expanding Soulslike throng. Additionally, COGConnected gave it an 84/100 rating and praised its wonderful setting, outstanding art, level design, and fighting mechanics.
It received a score of 6/10 on IGN, which criticised it for doing little else to differentiate itself from the pack of Soulsborne clones despite having a solid Soulslike and distinctive scenario. Pushsquare offers a slightly more favourable assessment, giving it a 7/10 and stating that it is Spiders Studio’s best game to date, however, it is hindered from greatness by an excessive number of bugs and technical problems.
