Despite being atrocious at Euro 2020, Kylian Mbappe has managed to retain his place at the cover of EA Sports FIFA 22
The last couple of weeks have been a torrid time for Kylian Mbappe. And rightfully so with many berating his appalling attitude.
Missing France’s penalty, one which ultimately resulted in his side being bundled out of Euro 2020, Mbappe was put to the sword for his mannerism. Reports of Adrian Rabiot’s mother being miffed with Mbappe’s decadent behaviour and of Mbappe being jealous of Antoine Griezmann have been doing the rounds ever since.
EA Sports Name Kylian Mbappe As FIFA 22 Cover Star
In the midst of the ongoing saga which has engulfed him, Kylian Mbappe has finally found some solace. The Frenchman has been named on the cover of FIFA 22 with EA Sports making the announcement on Friday.
The 22 year old wonderkid becomes only the third player in the world after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to feature as the cover star of FIFA for two straight years. The PSG man had ended up gracing the front of FIFA 21 as well.
EA Sports however refused to provide any further updates on the game. While a beta version of FIFA 22 is said to be in the works, there’s still no notification of when the game would be coming out this year.
While the game using releases its new version in the month of September or October, FIFA 22 could see a delayed release date owing to the COVID pandemic. Any latest development is still awaiting from the game’s creator.
Mbappe meanwhile will revert to the issues which embroil him. The Frenchman is facing a quagmire at PSG as well with him refusing to sign a new deal at PSG despite repeated approaches by his current employers.
Mbappe is said to be extremely keen to a switch to Real Madrid. And while the Spanish side is said to be an avid admirer of the attacking player, any colossal transfer fees PSG would demand for him are said to stave Real Madrid at the moment.
