Speaking of award shows, this year we have the likes of ‘Gayo Daejuns’ and award shows like MAMA, AAA, GDA among many others.
Well, the honor of kicking off the year-end award schedule as the first K-Pop year-end award show of 2022 is given to the Fact Music Awards.
The Fact Music Awards is a new music award show which started back in 2019 but it had to go online in 2020 due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
Since then, the makers of the show have taken advantage of advanced AR technology to enhance their performances. If we talk about last year’s show, it was pretty star-studded with legendary special stages by the likes of Oh My Girl, Stray Kids, Super Junior, Itzy, Astro and The Boyz.
Speaking of Grand prizes, K-Pop famous band BTS won 4 daesangs while rising star Lim Young-woong son 3 daesangs.
Air Date and time of the Music award
As we’ve already told earlier, the year-end’s music festivals will begin with The Fact Music Awards 2022, which will be held offline on October 8.
The viewers can stream the full event at the comfort of their home. The makers usually broadcast the event at around 7pm KST (6 am ET).
Venue
The year-end award show will take place in Seoul, at KSPO Dome.
Where to watch
For a few years, the event was Live-streamed for free on U+ Idol Live and The Fact’s Official YouTube Channel.
Hosts
Although the hosts for the award show have yet to be announced. However, since the inception of the show for the past 3 years, Girls’ Generation Seohyun has been an MC for the award show.
So, many are expecting her to return for the Fact Music Awards this year.

New voting round in 2022
This year, most of the award categories are based on objective details such as music data. Judges will screen the nominations while the committee will take into consideration the voting scores given by fans for some categories.
The winners of these categories will be announced at the show itself.
Other than the voting category award, there will be a new Dan voting round as the award show had announced it back in 2021. The new fan voting round will be held after the show ends for new prizes and benefits.
