2022 Commonwealth Games 2022 Commonwealth Games – Women’s Singles Badminton Latest Results, Quarterfinal Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
At 2022 Commonwealth Games, former world champion PV Sindhu defeated Husina Kobugabe of Uganda in the women’s singles round of 16 with scores of 21-10, 21-9. The National Exhibition Centre’s badminton court saw a match between world No. 234 Husina Kobugabe and two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, who won easily from the start. Though PV Sindhu made a few errors on the line that improved the score in both games, the Indian, who is ranked seventh in the world in badminton, remained clinical the whole 21-minute contest.
Additionally, Kashyap was outstanding on Friday as she easily defeated Cyprus’ Eva Kattirtzi to go to the quarterfinals. Kashyap advanced to the quarterfinals after crushing the opponent in straight sets with a score of 21-2, 21-7.
PV Sindhu will compete against Malaysia’s Goh Jin Wei, the winner of the Youth Olympic Games, on Saturday for a spot in the semifinals.
