From July 29 to August 3, 2022, fifty-two swimming competitions, including twelve parasport disciplines, will be held as part of the Commonwealth Games. The Sandwell Aquatics Center will host the men’s 50-meter freestyle and 1500-meter freestyle events for the 2022 Commonwealth Games on August 3.

2022 Commonwealth Games Swimming Latest Results, Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
Veteran Indian swimmer Srihari Nataraj improved the best Indian time on his way to finishing third in heat 2 of the men’s 200-meter backstroke event at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on Tuesday, but he was unable to advance to the final.
Nataraj finished with a time of 2:00.84 seconds, which was even better than his previous record of 2:01.70s, set in 2019 at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships. In the heats, Pieter Coetze of South Africa came in second with a time of 1:58.08s, while Luke Greenbank of England took first place with a time of 1:56.33s. From the three heats, the top eight swimmers advanced to the final but the Indian placed ninth overall and was kept as the first reserve.
