The Commonwealth Games will feature fifty-two swimming competitions, including twelve parasport disciplines, from July 29 to August 3, 2022. Men’s 100-meter butterfly and 200-meter backstroke events for the 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place on August 2 at the Sandwell Aquatics Center.

2022 Commonwealth Games Swimming Latest Results, Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
Srihari Nataraj of India placed a respectable fifth in the men’s 50-meter backstroke competition, but Sajan Prakash’s Commonwealth Games campaign came to an end as he was unable to advance past the semifinals of the 100-meter butterfly competition. Srihari recorded a time of 25.23s in the competition at the Sandwell Aquatics Center. On Sunday, the Bengaluru swimmer came in eighth place in the 100-meter backstroke finals.
The 200-meter backstroke is the final event left for Nataraj, which will be held on 2nd August. On the other side, Prakash failed to take advantage of a second opportunity to qualify for the 100m butterfly final, finishing last among the 16 swimmers in the semifinals with a time of 54.24s.
