Mika Hakkinen

Mika was born on 28th September 1968 in Vantaa, Finland. He is considered one of the best drivers in Formula 1 history. He is a two-time Formula 1 World Champion, having won back-to-back titles in 1998 and 1999. He started his career in karting before moving up to open-wheel racing. He made his Formula 1 debut with Lotus in 1991. He would go on to drive for teams like McLaren and Mercedes. His last win was in 2001, at the Japanese Grand Prix. He retired from Formula 1 at the end of the 2001 season.

Kimi Raikkonen

Kimi Raikkonen, otherwise known as the iceman, was born on 17th October 1979 in Espoo, Finland. He is the most successful Finnish driver in Formula 1 history. He has won 21 Grands Prix and has 103 podium finishes. He made his debut with Sauber in 2001. His first win came in 2003 at the Malaysian Grand Prix. He would go on to drive for teams like McLaren, Ferrari, and Lotus. He is currently driving for Alfa Romeo Racing.

The other 7 Finish Formula 1 drivers are Leo Kinnunen, Heikki Kovalainen, Valtteri Botta, Mika Salo, JJ Lehto, Jyrki Jรคrvilehto, and Mikko Kozarowitzky. Valtteri Botta is a 2022 driver for Alfa Romeo. Finland remains one of the most successful countries in motorsports.
