F1 Constructors And World Championship Odds List To Win Halfway Through The 2022 Season
The situation in the Constructors’ Championship is not quite as clear-cut. Red Bull holds the lead over Ferrari, who can’t seem to hold it together despite probably having the fastest car on the track. The lead Ferrari driver crashed not only in the French GP but also in the 2022 Monaco Historic event when Leclerc lost control of Lauda’s iconic 1974 car.

Charles Leclerc: The French Grand Prix is one race Leclerc certainly wishes he could take back. He started the race at pole position and led the race until the 17th lap, when he lost control and crashed into the wall for the third time this season. At this point, it seems only Verstappen’s DNFs can give him any hope, and the +410 odds reflect that.
Lewis Hamilton: There’s not much the seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton can’t do on the track, but his odds are currently +4200, indicating that he is far from a strong title contender. Still, having put in a few decent results over the last few race weekends and with the new upgrades Mercedes completed after the Spanish Grand Prix, he can still put up a fight.
Carlos Sainz: Carlos Sainz from Ferrari has had four DNFs this season, just like Alfa Romeo’s Zhou Guanyu. However, he’s still clinging to the fourth position in the championship. He has gained momentum after great outings in the Canadian Grand Prix and claiming his first pole position in Baku. His current odds stand at +7000.
George Russell: So far in the season, George Russel has won four spots on the podium, including P3 at the 2022 F1 French GP. Now, it’s only a one-point difference between Sainz and Russell, so the +7000 odds are also there for the Brit.
Current F1 Constructors’ Championship Odds
F1 constructors have a race of their own, and likely the winner will be Red Bull Racing, Ferrari, or Mercedes. The odds at FanDuel sportsbooks reflect that as well.

However, unless Leclerc and Sainz can show up on the podium more regularly, there’s not much Ferrari can hope for. Their odds are currently at +330.
Mercedes: Powered by George Russell’s performances, Mercedes is clinging to the third spot in the standings. With the new upgrades and the issues with suspension fixed, it seems they are in the best position to catch up to Ferrari and Red Bull, even though their odds at +1800 don’t confirm it.

Max Verstappen is having a superb season; halfway through, he has a 63-point lead. With two drivers in contention for the title, Red Bull Racing is also the main favorite to win the Constructors’ Championship.
