69th Senior National Men’s Kabaddi Championship Day 2 Result, Score, Winners, And Match Events
In the opening match of the second day in the Championship, Tamil Nadu defeated Gujarat as they scored 50 points in reply to 27 of Gujarat. Ram Kumar of Tamil Nadu had the most points with 10 and helped his team towards the win. Later, Kerala and Jharkhand played in a high-scoring contest in which Kerala amassed 57 points while Jharkhand came close with 38 points. The game’s leading scorer with 23 points was Sagar Kumar of the Jharkhand squad.
Karnataka destroyed BSNL in the third game, scoring a staggering 43 points to BSNL’s mere 5. The game’s leading scorer, Someshwara, scored 8 points for Karnataka. As Chhattisgarh scored 54 points and Telangana only managed to score 48, the match between the two states turned out to be an evenly contested match. Shubham Nimal, who had a match-high 22 points, was the game’s star.
In a very intriguing match, Uttarakhand and Punjab faced off in the fifth match of the National Kabaddi Championship day 2. Punjab narrowly prevailed after scoring 43 points against Uttarakhand’s 31 in order to win. The game’s leading scorer, Harmanjit of Punjab, had 10 points. Later, in the sixth match of the second day, Bihar defeated Odisha. Odisha scored 25 points, compared to Bihar’s 51. Neeraj, a Bihar player for VIVO Pro Kabaddi, had the most points in the match.
With a commanding 52-18 point victory over Telangana, Uttar Pradesh got things going for the evening session. Rahul Chaudhari, a VIVO Pro Kabaddi star, earned 8 points for Uttar Pradesh to lead them to their second victory of the tournament, making him the game’s highest scorer. Haryana and West Bengal played a game that finished with Haryana scoring 55 points while West Bengal only managed 24 points. Young gun Mohit Goyat of VIVO Pro Kabaddi continued his scorching form by scoring 15 points for the home team.
This year, the primary inter-state competition in India will feature 31 teams in total. Each team will play a single match against a different opponent from the same group in each of the eight pools in which they have been divided. The group’s victor and runner-up will then go to the knockout rounds.
