27th Edition of RBCL 2023 Closing Ceremony

The Ramjas International School, R.K. Puram celebrated the successful conclusion of 27th Edition of its Annual Ramjas Basketball Champions League sports event by acknowledging and rewarding deserving students

Under the thoughtful guidance of the Ramjas Foundation, the school hosts the RBCL sports festival every year. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting and the recitation of Vedic mantras, orchestrated under the able leadership of Mrs. Rachna Pant, Director, Ramjas International School who served as the Chairperson for the event.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Himanshu Gupta, IAS, the Director of Education, Delh. His presence added significance to the event, where he emphasized the importance of fostering comprehensive development among students, encouraging them not only in academics but also in the realm of sports.

The distinguished personalities present during the event’s culmination included Shri Rajnath Gupta, President, Ramjas Foundation and Chairman, Ramjas International School along with Shri. Sanjay Chaturvedi, DDE, District South West – A, Shri Rajbeer Singh, DDE, Zone 19 and Harsh Gupta, Manager, Ramjas International School collectively handed out well-deserved accolades to the victorious students.

The students who excelled in various categories included those from GD Goenka, Queen Valley School Dwarka, and Delhi Public School Mathura Road. Rachna Pant addressed the media, underscoring the vital role of sports in shaping a well-rounded individual and commending the government’s initiatives in this regard. She expressed gratitude for the successful execution of the annual basketball sports festival, which saw participation from 160 schools this year, and expressed the hope for even greater engagement with over 200 schools in the upcoming years.

In her closing remarks, Principal Mrs. Richa Sharma extended her heartfelt congratulations to the students for their outstanding achievements, both in sports and academics. She encouraged them to maintain their excellence in the upcoming CBSE exams, setting a high standard for all schools involved.
