Le Mans offers a substantial 50 championship points for the victor, making the fourth round of the WEC a pivotal juncture in the battle for the overall World Championship title. Porsche currently leads the FIA Hypercar World Endurance Manufacturers’ Championship with 83 points, a notable 23 points ahead of Toyota in second place, while Ferrari holds third position with 49 points.
Of the 23 Hypercar entries at Le Mans, 19 are eligible to earn World Championship points. Additionally, there will be 23 LMGT3 cars in contention at Le Mans, with 18 of them vying for WEC points, along with 16 LMP2 cars completing the impressive 62-car grid. The excitement of race week commences at the circuit on Tuesday, June 11, featuring an autograph session, a pit walk, and the thrilling Pit Stop Challenge.

On June 12th, the first Free Practice and Qualifying sessions kick off the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Following this, Thursday evening sees the exciting Hyperpole session at 8 pm. Finally, the spectacle of the 24 Hours of Le Mans begins at 4 pm on Saturday. Before the main event, spectators can enjoy various entertainments, including thrilling support races like Road to Le Mans and the dramatic arrival of the French flag by helicopter.
