15 Year Old Girl Snatched From Dallas Mavericks Game Found Being Trafficked In Oklahoma CityHotel
A minor girl who just aged 15 was taken from Mavericks game and was found days later being trafficked in an OKC Hotel.
On April 8th, the 15-year-old daughter went to the restroom while her father was still sitting in his seat at a game. However, she never returned. According to KVUE.com, surveillance from that night showed her leaving the arena with a male. Her parents then come across nude photos of her on the internet for sex ads. She was being sold for sex in an Oklahoma City hotel, it turned out.
She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry said. He sent a letter last week to multiple parties he believes could have done things differently, possibly even preventing the situation from escalating.
“Our intent is to put [these organizations] on notice that we’re pursuing claims against them for their negligence and other causes of action,”
Fortenberry said the father alerted authorities at the game when he learned his daughter was missing. However, the father was urged to report it to North Richland Hills police, according to Fortenberry.
According to Fortenberry, the father called North Richland Hills police, who told him that they couldn’t help because the crime occurred in Dallas.
The report of the missing adolescent was received at 1:27 a.m., roughly six hours after the game began, according to North Richland Hills police. The department said the teen was entered in the national missing person database by 3:24 a.m. on April 9.
Dallas Police claimed they assisted the North Richland Hills Police Department and issued a bulletin for the missing teen.
That agency was able to help them locate the photograph of their daughter online within the same day,” Fortenberry said.”
The man with whom the girl left allegedly entered the game by purchasing a phoney ticket from American Airlines, and the Mavs are both aware of the party selling the fake tickets. Fortunately, they discovered her and arrested eight people for human trafficking.
