Zoleka Mandela’s cancer journey began at the age of 32 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through tenacious resolve and medical intervention, she achieved remission. However, this relentless disease returned, underscoring the resilience with which she faced life’s challenges.

Despite initially receiving treatment as an outpatient, she was eventually admitted to the hospital.
