Zaheer Khan was slandered by Muslims on Twitter after his wishes on Diwali
As the country is celebrating the festival of lights, Diwali, which as per believes symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, and good over evil, some are busy hating and slamming the others.
Cricketer Zaheer Khan Abused By Muslims And Of Committing Shirk In Islam After He Wishes Diwali On Twitter
The same thing is happening right now with a former Indian cricketer, Zaheer Khan.
The cricketer becomes the topic of hate and social media abuse as the Islamist netizens slamming him for celebrating the festival with his family.

On the occasion of Diwali, on Monday, October 24th, Khan took to his Twitter and shared a picture with his wife, actress Sagarika Ghatge to wish his fans for the festival.
He captioned the tweet as, “Happy Diwali from us to you.” In the photograph, the 44-year-old was seen embracing a tilak on his forehead, which didn’t go well with the Islamist netizens.
As they started schooling the former bowler for going against his religion. One of the user who was later identified as Hani Mirza took to Twitter and called the country as anti-muslim.
Mirza wrote on Twitter, “Bless, I mean I can understand why you posted this picture in an anti-Muslim country, India where you have to live, unfortunately.”
Meanwhile another user named Haroon Wani was seen stating that Muslims can not celebrate festivals of other religions.
Meanwhile, another Twitter user quoted the Khan’s message as ‘Shrik.”
Followed by a fourth one, who quoted the message of Mohammed Ali Jinnah while retweeting the tweet of Zaheer.
In his tweet, the user quoted Jinnah’s saying, “Muslims who are opposing Pakistan will spend the rest of their lives proving loyalty to India”.
The platform user, who hails from across the border noted that Jinnah was a legend as he criticized the Indian cricketer for wishing Diwali to everyone.
Meanwhile another user goes by the name Waleed Afridi, seems to be attacking the second-most successful pace bowler as he went on to say that Zaheer had sent his wishes forcefully to live in India.
Waleed wrote in his tweet, “Kia kuch kerna phadta hy India ma rehny k liye lol (What a man has to do to live in India).”
Though it’s not the first time when Zaheer Khan has became the topic of hate and criticism by Muslim fans for extending wishes for celebrating festivals.
Previously, in 2019, Khan was abused for wishing Diwali to his fans by radical fundamentalist.
Not just Zaheer, but other personalities had also seemed to be receiving hate for wishing or celebrating festivals of other religions.
As recently, the cricketer Mohammed Shami was seemed to be slammed by Islamist when he extended his wishes on the occasion of Dussehra.
