According to several online users, the victim’s limbs were tied, and he was forced to the ground. He was also allegedly under the influence of drugs before the horrifying slaying, which would have probably lessened the pain. Who was behind the flaying?

According to Reddit users, the flaying was carried out by Mexico’s Cartel del Noreste. The Northeast Cartel is another name for the cartel, according to Historica Fandom. According to reports, Juan Gerardo Chavez Trevino created it in 2014.

Following Omar Trevino Morales’ arrest as the leader of Los Zetas, the Zacatecas cartel was established. Los Zetas was divided into the Old School Zetas and the Cartel del Noreste as a result of a power vacuum, and they engaged in conflict regularly. The cartel engaged in combat not only with the Old School Zetas but also with the Gulf Cartel, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, and Nuevo Laredo.

El Pais claims that violent conflicts between cartels have plagued Zacatecas for many years. Seven friends and cousins, ages fourteen to eighteen, were abducted by armed men in September. The cartel members sent a video of the victims walking down a hill to their families in an attempt to extract money. Six of the abducted lads tragically perished, and only one made it out alive. Five police officers were also abducted in August and discovered murdered in Zacatecas.

Speaking about the kind of guys that join cartels, Carlos Perez Ricart of the Center for Economic Research and Teaching disclosed that males who lack possibilities and reside in impoverished metropolitan areas between the ages of 17 and 24 are frequently recruited. The recruits are usually ex-shooters as well. It is said that recruits are occasionally coerced into joining the cartels.
