Yumi and Babi are taking part in Episode 13:

Yumi is taken to meet Babi’s dad, who is brusque and a guy of few phrases. Babi needs to leave Yumi only at his father’s cafe for a bit. Yumi eats four plates of ‘Tteokbokki’ in an attempt to gain the father’s esteem. She is unaware that she may have already gained the confidence of her father. He is further moved that she refers to him as “father” and offers her money. Yumi is pleased when Babi reveals that his father rarely gave his own son cash since he was a penny pincher like Scrooge.

Yumi develops a throat infection and a fever after a few days and cancels her dinner meeting with Babi, instructing him not to call. However, she runs into Woong when he informs her that he is in town. He uncomfortably applauds her on her nuptials but then tells her not to marry Babi and that his main regret was abandoning her. Yumi pauses for a second when Woong questions if she loves Babi. Yumi’s Love Cell is absent, which is why she can’t answer yes and diverts the subject.

Babi gets a call:

We then see Babi taking time off work to take care of a sick Yumi. Even his father sends food that moves Yumi. To distract her, Babi asks Yumi if they could have a small wedding in Hawaii because his sister lives there. Yumi gets excited and shares that it is her dream wedding to marry in Hawaii. But her bubble bursts when Yumi sees Daeun calling Babi’s phone at midnight.

We next see a throwback to 8 months earlier, when Daeun was inebriated and made one last call to Babi. Babi has no idea Yumi heard the conversation and just erases Daeun’s connection. Yumi’s ideas, on the other hand, are revealed. She claims that they split up because Yumi remained quiet despite Daeun’s call and Babi’s failure to delete the contact. She is perplexed as to how love can be peaceful.

Yumi concentrates on her book in the finale:

Yumi is concerned about presenting a nice finale to her book, which has received bad feedback in the season finale 14 of ‘Yumi’s Cells 2.’ She was expected to answer the conclusion before Yi-wedding, da’s but her computer goes missing, leaving her without a copy. The Writer Cell vanishes after skipping 60 pages over the following three weeks.

Yumi meets Babi and Woong:

Yumi leaves a grateful note after receiving her laptop, but she runs into Babi at the terminal since his trip was postponed. They exchange pleasantries before he inquires as to whether she has a partner. She inquires as if he has a date. He says yes, and she is overjoyed for him. Babi, on the other hand, subsequently admits to his coworker that he is not meeting anybody. Yumi then meets new males in a sequence in ‘Yumi’s Cells 2’. Her attention had been drawn to her career when she urged Love Cell to offer Writer Cell the top spot. This is why, even when she saw a man, she felt curiosity, sensitivity, and passion but not love for him.

The Love Cell is back:

Yumi feels OK now that Dating Cell has died, but she can’t sleep because of the Christmas party. Love Cell reappears a year afterward on Christmas Eve, implying that she has met someone new. Then we get a brief flashback to the unexpected Christmas party that Ruby had alerted Yumi about. Yumi greets and greets her young manager. He texted her the next day, wondering if Yumi arrived home safely after being intoxicated. He brings back himself as Shin Soon-rok, much like the finale of her story. The manager is subsequently shown to be the narrator recounting Yumi’s emotions in the most recent episodes.

Despite the fact that season 3 has yet to be announced, webtoon viewers of ‘Yumi’s’ Cells’ indicated that perhaps the Shin Soon-rok presented in the conclusion is Yumi’s, last love. However, K-drama fans were pleased with the finale, which only teased the prospect of love but finished with Yumi focused on her job and herself.
