The series opener took place yesterday, on Friday (March 17), where Hardik Pandya-led India registered a 5-wicket win at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The Indian bowlers led by Mohammed Shami bowled out Australia to 188 inside 36 overs. KL Rahul then went on an unbeaten 75 runs to guide India home with 61 balls to spare.
