For the addled, the viral controversy refers to the scandal of famous YouTuber Mutahar, widely known as SomeOrdinaryGamers lying about being an engineer.

The scandal came into the limelight after popular YouTuber, Nikandros alleged in late July that Mutahar has been faking about being an engineer for over 10 years. The post has now gone viral on Reddit.

Earlier, in a video, YouTuber Nikandros shared a video titled ‘Mutahar has been a fake engineer for 10 years.” The now-viral video seemingly talks about how the 31-year-old has been lying that YouTube isn’t his primary job.

In his video, Nikandros not only investigates the claims of Mutahar, but also showcases evidence of what he believes to be inconsistency in the Canadian national’s claim. After the video went viral, netizens start sharing memes and GIFs as they began trolling the YouTuber for being a fake engineer, and for lying to them.

What Did the Viral Video Feature?

The now-viral video of Nikandros, has so far received over 246,000 views. The viral video is accompanied by a Google doc link, wherein Nikandros shared a timeline of how many times Mutahar has called himself as an engineer.

Additionally, in his video too, Nikandros plays various clips, wherein Mutahar claimed himself to be an engineer. Additionally, he also reveals that in Ontario, Canada, where the YouTuber lives, it’s illegal to represent themselves as an engineer.

Later, he plays the video clip of where Mutahar first claims himself to be a ‘computer engineer,’ and then the ones where he claims himself to be a ‘video engineer,’ and ‘cyber security engineer,’ before mentioning that they aren’t the same things as a computer engineer.

Later, he played the clips, wherein the YouTuber claimed to have gone to university to be an engineer but later dropped out of it. Furthermore, he also plays clips of where Mutahar mentioned he’s an ex-engineer and some where he even mentioned he used to work as an engineer.

Additionally, he also plays the clip where Mutahar claims that he is a CEO of a company and that he donates a lot of money for charity, however, he doesn’t write the donations off, as it is a “shitty thing to do,” as per him.

The fans surely aren’t liking the idea of being lying about for almost 10 years and are currently busy criticizing Mutahar who hasn’t uploaded anything on his channel since.
