Official statement from the Director General of Police

“Between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar neighbourhood, Pant’s car was involved in an accident. The 25-year-old lost control of the car because he fell asleep behind the wheel, according to Uttarakhand Director General of Police Ashok Kumar. He was the sole one in the automobile at the time of the crash, and he broke the glass to get out.”

Rishabh’s automobile reportedly hit the fence, caught fire, and was seen burning by onlookers. It was quite tough to put out the fire. Pant was thereafter brought to Roorkee Civil Hospital for initial treatment after suffering major injuries in the collision.

Pant is now being treated in Max Hospital Dehradun.

Dr. Sushil Nagar, who oversaw the emergency care, reports that Pant has abrasions on his back, a ligament tear in his knee, and a lacerating laceration just above the left eye on his forehead. Despite the fact that Pant’s car caught fire, preliminary X-ray results indicate that he has no fractures and no burns on his body.

The Indian cricketer was quickly assisted by onlookers. In a video, Pant was shown with a bloody face following the collision as his automobile burned to ashes in front of him.

Current health update

The right knee of Rishabh has a torn ligament. He also has two wounds on his forehead, injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe, and abrasions on his back. Rishabh’s condition is stable, and he has now been sent to Max Hospital in Dehradun where he will undergo MRI scans to determine the severity of his wounds and choose his next line of treatment.
