Although he’s still in the open exchanges of his NBA career, last year’s Rookie of the Year, LaMelo Ball has been adamant on spending the entirety of his life in the marquee league at the Charlotte Hornets.

While it remains to be seen how long Ball’s loyalty lasts, the player is living up to his words at the moment. He was caught telling the same to rapper Jay-Z who caught up with the NBA player during the Nets vs Hornets showdown.

This isn’t the first time either that Ball was publicly pledged his alliance to the Hornets. He had previously talked about how he was looking forward to sticking around with the team as long as he was in the NBA.

“I feel like I still kind of got that mentality that they had back in the day. Even with the switching teams and stuff, they never used to do that. You go to one team, you stay there. You supposed to just go to a team and build from there,” Ball had said while speaking to The Athletic.
