Theatres across South India have recently seen a surge in some of the greatest hits of the past. The love that has been shown to the films that have been re-released in theatres over the past year has only encouraged theatre owners to release old masterpieces.
Yogi movie re release 2023 worldwide box office collection till now
On Friday, Prabhas and Nayanthara’s starrer Yogi was re-released in theatres. After the release, the clips from the theatre quickly went viral. In the videos, fans are seen celebrating the release by dancing, throwing confetti, and whistling in excitement. Additionally, a video showed attendees using cold pyro guns to mark the occasion.
The screen was sadly broken at two different spots as a consequence of the ardent dance of fans at G3 Raj Yuvraj Theatres in Andhra Pradesh.

The action drama “Yogi” was released in 2007. It was made under the direction of V. V. Vinayak and stars Prabhas and Nayanthara. In supporting roles are Ali, Subbaraju, Pradeep Rawat, Sharada, and Kota Srinivasa Rao.
This movie was a remake of Jogi, a 2005 Kannada hit directed by Prem. The movie opened on January 12, 2007, in 225 theatres but failed to impress people and critics. Yogi earned Rs 13.12 crore in its first week of release. But in the end, the movie was a financial flop. The re-release collection isn’t known till now.
Prabhas’ Fame After Baahubali
With the success of “Baahubali 1 and 2,” Prabhas rose to fame professionally and became known throughout India. The actor also portrayed the protagonist’s son in addition to the title role.
The SS Rajamouli-directed film shattered all box office records across all languages, making the actor a superstar throughout India.
He was last seen in the movie “Adipurush,” and “Kalki AD2898” will be his next appearance. On January 12, 2024, Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi movie will be presented in theatres. Apart from Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan will star in the movie.

Recently, Prabhas talked about working with Deepika Padukone. Prabhas gushed about his ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ co-star Deepika Padukone in an interview with Screen Rant, calling her “the biggest superstar, the most beautiful lady, and she’s already famous worldwide.
He added, “I believe she is acting in the largest worldwide advertisements as well as those for Louis Vuitton and TAM AdEX. She is therefore vibrant when she enters the set, and I have always adored her. I wanted to work with her, and this is the first time I got a chance to collaborate with her.”
