Kou was worried about his school returning; he was trying to remember the last time Nazuna drank his blood. Kou couldn’t sleep all night and decided to meet Nazuna the next day.

Kou informed her he had been thinking about it and was not as concerned about going to school as he had been before. Kou stated to Nazuna that he was not as nervous as he was the first time he met her.
Nazuna reminded him that it was largely because the girl confided in him about her sentiments. Kou stated that it was primarily due of that, as he couldn’t bear the thought of some random girl harassing him for no apparent reason.
After the school excursion, Kou remarked that the girl and her companions were friendly to him. He understood they were not to be feared, and they became excellent friends.
Kou thought it was a good thing he had friends, which most people would consider to be a decent social life.
