Five final members of BabyMonster have been selected by YG Entertainment’s producers

BabyMonster members that were revealed are Ahyeon, Ruka, Chiquita, Haram, and Pharita. However, it has been revealed that Rora and Asa both were also added to their debut lineup due to overwhelming demand from their fans who want them to be part of their group.

In the announcement video of YG Entertainment’s upcoming girl group,  founder Yang Hyun Suk has shared that it has taken him two weeks for finalizing the group members of BabyMonster. The reason for delaying the announcement was the overwhelming demand from their fans who want all seven trainees to make their debut.

This has caused them to re-evaluate the decision to choose the final members. This decision of adding only two girls Rora and Asa to make their debut, clearly indicates that YG Entertainment is valuing the opinions and voices of its fans, that emphasizes “YG Family” is not just a gathering of YG artists, but it has fans who diligently tuned in to these broadcasts.

It’s refreshing to watch a company that is willing to listen to their choice of fans and make necessary changes to make sure success and longevity of their group.

More about the BabyMonster group

BabyMonster is also well known by its name Baemon. It is an upcoming South Korean girl group. This group is formed by YG Entertainment and it consists of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Haram, Rora, and Chiquita. They are scheduled to debut in 2023.

At midnight on May 12 KST, YG Entertainment unveiled the final debut lineup of BABYMONSTER, its first girl group in 7 years.

Following the launch of YG Entertainment’s representative girl groups 2NE1 in 2009 and Blackpink in 2016, the news of the label’s next girl group got circulated in 2018. The BabyMonster’s YouTube channel will be surpassed one million subscribers in just 52 days from its creation on the 28th of December in 2022.

South Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment came into existence in 1996. Hwang Bo-Kyung is serving as the CEO of the company and Yang Hyun-Suk is the founder.  A number of artists have been launched by this talent agency to date.
